best graphics card for ADC monitor?

hi, i still have one of the old-school ADC "bubble" monitors with the single power/display connector. i like this monitor very much and would hate to part with it. however, i am thinking about upgrading the graphics card on my digital audio. is there a readily available card that has a powered ADC input so that i can continue using this display? thanks.

The 'best' graphics card I'm aware of with an ADC connector is the Radeon 9000 Pro on the ATI side and the GeForce4 Titanium on the Nvidia side. I believe both have been discontinued though but may be available via eBay.

If your 'bubble' monitor is an LCD you could use Apple's DVI to ADC adapter and get a graphics card with a DVI connector, although the adapter is fairly expensive and doesn't work with the Apple CRT that has an ADC connector.

If what you say about the DVI-ADC adapter not working with a CRT is true, you have solved a problem I have been dealing with for a week.

I bought an ATI 9600 for PC/MAC and got a black screen when it booted. Neither the techs at Micro Center (where I bought it) nor at ATI HELP noticed the problem as being the adapter. They BOTH said it was a "bad video card."

I went back to the instructions for the adapter and, while it did not specifically exclude any type of monitor, the cartoon instructions did show only an LCD monitor and a laptop in the hook-up section.

Thank you!!!
