How do I turn off text messages?
I have been trying to delete the green icon with a white speaking bubble. It looks to be programmed into the phone memory. I need to shut off texts. Does anyone know how I can do this?

You cannot delete that icon, you can move it to another page and hide it in a folder.
The only way you can shut off texts is to call your service provider and ask them to remove the capability from your account.
