I have someone elses credit card information on my account.

I was trying to purchase a song on my iTunes account. I logged in and was asked to verify my billing information. In my account I had someone elses credit card number, expiration date, name, address and phone number. I emailed iTunes support 24 hours ago and have not received a reply yet. I called support and the man could not explain the issue. Nor did he seemed concerned. I asked if he was going to report this or if there was some sort of security department I could reach and he said no. I do not feel comfortable simply changing the information back to my information if there is some sort of issue. What if my information is showing up on someone elses iTunes account?! I'd really like to see this issue addressed by Apple. I also have a screenshot of the issue.

As stated earlier, I'm understanding that I can reset my information but my problem is that I don't feel comfortable knowing that someone elses information is showing up in my account, including their credit card and expiration. I am apprehensive of storing my credit card information, not knowing if my information is showing up on someone elses account. And I very well can not purchase songs on iTunes if I am apprehensive of the security of my information. What exactly can I do to rectify this problem? I'd like to know why there is another persons information in my account.

And when would I put my credit card info in so I can resume using my iTunes for purchases? I'm assuming after I change my password and security questions but how do I know that I will not be hijacked again? I don't understand how someone could be allowed to go into my account and change all of the main contact information (such as name, address, etc) and that not fall under suspicion in apple's eye.

I am on hold with them now with ethe same issue.

Basically i had a mobile me back when it was .mac which most of my purchases were made on . When I changed my mobile me name i still used the old account seeing it had all of my purchases on it.

After moving to Lion and icloud i am seeing syncing isses with having 2 diffrent apple id's. When i signed into my most recient account ( the one I am trying to switch to, my most current apple id and now icloud account) there is someone's information that is not mine.

I am currently on hold while they research the issue but like stated above I am not very comfotable havings tis issue seeing the possibility of it happening in reverse. Is apple even notifying these people? I will post with update as soon as they come back on the line

by the way I am not allison from springfield NJ ...I live in MD ..... it is the person who's info is now on my acount

The gentelman came back and said that basically somehow my account was compromised and to change the password and information.

You can also do what i did and ask if there was a way to find out if your information was on anyone else's account. What my rep did was put me on hold and did an online chat with itunes support staff to look into the issue

Mine came back with opnly have my cc and info on one account and that was teh old one I was using.

Allowed to?

No one is allowed to go into your account except you, but this is real life and in real life you are not allowed to speed, steal or kill either, look how well that works.
