Same exact problem here. I've done everything, removed other devices from our network, manually setting the printer's networking cofiguration, even replaced the entire printer with a new one and still cannot get the printer to work via wireless.

The Samsung support team is clueless so I findally just ended up buying a Linksys WET610NDual-Band N Entertainment Bridgem (http://homestore.cisco.com/en-us/adapters/linksys-wrt610n-wirelessn-gaming_stcVV productId65221232VVcatId552009VVviewprod.htm) and plugged in the **** thing, up and running in 2 minutes and now it works like a charm.

Not the greatest solution but a solution.

Totally agree with you about Samsung. I was shocked how clueless they were about Macs. I would have gotten a better result asking a class of kindergarteners.

I'm just wondering what it is about the Airport Extreme that causes the Samsung to choke...

What I found puzzling/annoying is that Apple has no problem selling this product without (apparently) ensuring that it works as it should. It seems to me from searching the net, that EVERY Mac user has issues of one kind or another with this printer. I'm getting the same "Connection Failed" message, after no fewer than 30 attempts.

It looks like I will have to connect this printer to my network via the USB port on my Airport, which means.......no more network drive! Thank you Apple - for nothing.

My CLP-325W works fine, but with one proviso:

The Wifi connection seems to go to sleep on the printer after a period of time. When this happens you see that the printer is not available, and no amount of printer or rummaging around the printer control panels will wake it up. The printer needs to be turned off and then on again.

So our printer remains switched off, until it is needed. It will work fine after being switched on, until there is a sufficiently long enough gap in print jobs the wifi goes to sleep again.

Just today bought a new Samsung CLP-325, and could not install it on OSX 10.7 (Lion) through USB:

The Add new Printer dialog in System Preferences told me that Apple has the printer software, but could not "find" the software and the installation aborted.

After some surfing I found these instructions from Apple that worked for me:

    http://support.apple.com/kb/TS3147 (read carefully)

After resetting my OSX printing system and installing Apple's latest Samsung software (USB printer cable connected) it finally worked... I then switched the printer USB cable from my MacBook to Time Capsule, and could also see and "Add" the Samsung printer via Time Capsule to enable wireless printing. All works now.

To anyone who has Lion and is planning on installing the Samsung CLP-325W wirelessly with an Airport Extreme, you will need to install Airport Utility V5.6.  In order to create a wireless client you cannot use the current Airport Utility 6.0

Just bought a Samsung CLP325W and after setting up the driver/software on my Macbook Pro the printer always went "offline" as soon as I disconnected the USB cable.  After scratching my head and trying different things for an hour or so I tried the following and it seems to work so far:

Open System Preferences - Print and Scan.

Below the list of printers click the [+] button to add printer.
    Click IP.
Select IPP in the Protocol dropdown (default)
In the Address field, enter the IP address of the printer (make note of the IP address when you install)
Pick a name for it and then click Add.
    Hope this helps...

Just bought a Samsung CLP325W and after 3 hrs with the problem here mention. I found the problem. I notice that the wifi light wasn't light, So I direct to the printer software. The same way you access a router by the IP address. the user: admin, password: cer00000 and look for the reset option. restart the printer and fix wifi on.

I guess that the wifi is factory default is off. re install the printer softwear and add it manualy,Just get it connect to my MBP wifi.

    Samsung 325w

    John Trusello post

    Ok, I got it finally.

    Go into sys. pref.

    delete all printers listed

if you are setting up for network settings

make sure the rj45 cable is connected to the printer and the router

    to be sure,

    unplug the printer

    unplug the router

    unplug the modem

reset the modem, little hole in back press and hold.

    plug back in

    run samsung software as normal

it should now find the printer settings through

the samsung little app they have,

if you don't have it, someone here has the address posted.

    your printer should come up.

try a test print and see what you get.

if it shows offline, simply press and hold the blue button on the panel.

    delete that page

    and try reprinting again.

basically it is easiest if it is the only printer listed on the mac, once there

you can add your other printers, but it needs to be cleared prior to installation.
