Oct 24, 2011 6:58 AM in response to cillonecahaby Allan Eckert,There are moderators here from Apple who check posts for violations of TOU.
There is no one here from Apple to read these forums for problems.

Nov 4, 2011 4:49 PM in response to leroy fromriversideby Frank Muller,It's crap. The user instructions are misleading and it was no benefit as far as I can tell. I regret being so naive as to get sucked in.

Nov 4, 2011 5:32 PM in response to leroy fromriversideby cillonecaha,Yes, but as far as I remember, the product was advertised on the apple website, so it is very misleading.

Nov 4, 2011 5:43 PM in response to cillonecahaby Allan Eckert,Yes that is very true.
I think that is why so many of us respond so vehemently when ever this questions up because of the Zeobit advertising that attempts to show MacKeeper in a good light when in fact it is anything but.

Nov 4, 2011 7:04 PM in response to D82by Mark.Kennedy,Hi D82,
In the words of Dr. Phil, "How's that Mackeeper workin' out for ya?"
Seriously, it's caused me a lot of grief with marginal benefit.
After perservering for the past six months I've finally deleted it from both Macs, deactivated the licenses & I'm now about to demand a refund. Wish me luck.

Nov 7, 2011 4:21 AM in response to yaniqueby I AM LEGEND,I have heard about Mackeeper before and have seen couple of ads of it, i have decided to visit their website to learn more about it, i pressed on downloads to see what the program represents but i haven't pressed to download the file. The file started to wonload by it's self without my permission, i found that strange and decided to make researches about it then i came up with this conversation. i am worried now about my computer, the program has been downloaded but i didn't open/run it i just deleted straight way when i saw this conversation. my question is, is my computer infected by any virus or anything even though the program was just downloaded not opened?
