how do i add bookmarks on ipad 2

I only know how to sync bookmarks from the Apple Safari app. If you get Safari for Windows and import your bookmarks into Safari, then you can sync them to Safari on the iPad. The setting to import the bookmarks is in the Info tab when your iPad is attached to your computer.

If you are talking about bookmarks for Safari, click the plus button next to the address bar and hit either create bookmark or add to homescreen (whichever way you want to access the bookmark).

On my iPad 2 there is no plus [+] button. It is an arrow emerging from a square that plays this function.

Oh ok, that must be right. I don't actually have an iPad 2 and I was referring to the iPhone simulator (which has an iPad setting) and there was a plus button there. It must have been changed in a software update or something. My mistake. 😉
