Hi guys I'm using a Macbook Pro 2011 and I bought a Lacie iamakey USB 8gb, It works fine for my MBP. But when I connected it to my old Macbook, the USB does not mount, the icon doesnt show up on desktop and I also checked Disk Utility and it seems like my USB is NOT THERE AT ALL.
Please help me, i know it may not be appropriate to post a question about Lacie here, thanks for taking your time.

When you plug another USB device (mouse, printer, etc...) into the USB port is it recognized? If it is try the other USB port to make sure it is recognized in that one. If your two USB ports are good you'll have to contact LaCie for troubleshooting.
Also go to the Apple in the upper left corner and select About This Mac, then click on More Info, then select USB from the bottom of the left hand column of the System Profiler. Your information on the two USB ports is under the USB 2.0 Hub
