How do I carry over my files attached to a weekly event when I copy-and-past that event?

I attach files ('Add Files' in 'Get Info' window) to my iCal events on a daily basis. These events are repeated weekly. I want to keep track of everything that I've attached for a particular event. Why doesn't iCal carry my attachments over to the next week when I copy-and-paste an event? Can't find anything in the Preferences.

Also, when I select my files (usually PDFs) to be attached, I can't seem to be able to select more than one.

Weak, very weak!

Any way to resolve this?

Thks!

Hi,

Would making the events repeat weekly work?

Best wishes

@John M:

Thks so much for your help.

We now manage the attachments a lot bettter.

But, Apple sure makes it hard on us. Love their products, but patience is tested with their average software (exhibit A: sync with iPad, the lack of compatibility for the same program; I can't see the attachments on my mobile hardware).

iCal, no fonts, colors, etc. Please!

Another case in point: I repeat an event 3 times, but then decide to delete the last 2 times (keeping only the original event). Later, I want to repeat the same event. No more 'repeat' option in Get Info window. Solution: Duplicate, Drag attached files from one Info window to the other, Delete first window. Ouch!

Again, thks a ton for your help. I'm clicking now on 'Correct Answer'.
