How to edit multiple mp3-id3-tags of different parts of the podcast ?

Hi,

i looked everywhere on the internet for this, but without finding an answer. i'm making a music podcast, and i would like to know how can i edit the mp3-id3-tags of the particular tracks within the podcast, is there a way to time the mp3-tags ? the idea is just to tracklist my one hour mix. I've seen this was done in a lot of DJ mixes, and i thought it's really helpful and makes your mix-podcast look professional. So please help me on this one, everywhere i look they only show how to edit the mp3-id3-tag of the whole Podcast.

Thanks in Advance

The MP3 tags contain information such as title, artist, album and so on, pertaining to the entire recording. You can add these in iTunes by copying the recording in, adding the info (choose 'Get Info' from the File menu) and then copying the recording out again.

If I understand you correctly - I'm not completely sure I do - you want to place markers within the recording so that each item in your mix has its own info. You can't do this in MP3s, you would have to use M4a to make an 'enhanced' podcast. You don't say what system you are using (please always post system info when asking a question) but on a Mac you can make an enhanced podcast in GarageBand, putting in markers which can have titles and artwork. On Windows there's probably software which can do this but I can't advise on that.
