Is it possible to use two bluetooth receivers simultaneously with the iPad 2? When my wife and I travel we like to listen to audiobooks but often sit across the isle in the plane. Thus we can't be hard wired. So, can you pair two bluetooth headphone receivers to the iPad at the same time? Are there models that you would recommend?

The Apple Bluetooth interface apparently will only support one device at a time. To solve my issue I have successfully used an i10 Multi-Stream iPod transmitter (available from Amazon). I found two tiny stereo receivers on Deal Extreme (smaller than iPod Shuffles and rechargeable) and the entire setup works great.
Technically, Bluetooth is not to be used in-flight, but many people seem to.
You can only use one at a time as the iPad can only see one BT device at a time. You might as well invest in two good sets of earbuds or cans, and a good splitter like monster. Easier than trying to find a way to make what you want work.
