I bought the iMac G5 with the wireless keyboard and mouse. My coworker set it up for me. After using it for awhile, I found that I would like to change it for a Logitech di novo.

The first reason for this is that I hate the Apple mouse. I am not used to it and I have a right wrist problem to begin with.

The second reason is that even though I really like the Apple keyboards, there are some things that it can't do while connected to my job's network, which is essentially IBM. When logged in via the Remote Desktop Connection, I found out that the applications do not recognize the numeric keypad and the control button. This is a problem when trying to key in numbers.

My employer is going to pay for replacing the wireless keyboard and mouse. The question that I have is does the current keyboard and muse need to be unpaired in order to set up a new keyboard and mouse and, if so, how do I go about doing this?

Thanks in advance for any replies.
