Mac mini mid-2007 Philips FTV problem

Hi,

suffering from the following problem: Every 2nd/3rd boot, the monitor merely displays "No input signal". Unplugging/replugging the HDMI connector from/into the HDMI connector of the monitor eventually solves the problem after 3-4 cycles (Unplug/replug on the monitor/TV side).

The Mini then displays the following monitor setting: Philips FTV 1080p 50 Hz Overscan

My config:

Mac mini, bought in June 2008. According to apple-history, its a Mac mini mid 2007

Mac OS 10.6.7, Intel Core 2 Duo 2 Ghz, 2 GB RAM

Video out: DVI

Connected via a DVI-->HDMI cable to a Philips LCD tv 32PFL9603D/10

Lates firmware of the Philips LCD tv

Unfortunately, I've found no solutions to this problem in the forums.

So any help/advice is greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

Lars

Had same problem with my Sony and powered Mac mini down disconnected all wires including power cable. Then held power button for 10 secs and reconnected everything. Turned on and when heard powering on sound pressed and held shift until apple logo showed then released. It took a little bit but then the screen came up. I adjusted resolution then powered down and restarted and was good to go. Holding shift at start up puts Mac in sync mode so you have to restart it.
