Best screen protector for ipad 2?

I ordered the ClearProtector and installed it last week on my iPad. It was a bit difficult as they send you nothing but the screen protector. They tell you to mix up some soapy water to apply it. What a mess!

I got it on without sloshing too much soapy water around, but try as I may, I could not get every tiny bubble to disappear. After five days the bubbles were still there.

I tested it for five days. It is much less resistant to oil and smudges than the iPad's display and very difficult to clean. After five days I took it off and threw it in the trash. US$25 dollars for nada.

Do not waste money on the ClearProtector!

sorry to hear about your awful experience. Please consider trying the SGP. I have no bubbles on either the front screen protector or the back skin. It went on easy. I am no pro at putting skins or screen protectors on. I bought zagg and failed at applying it on my iphone. I will never try zagg again.

SGP has video's on applying the front screen protector and back skin. It really was easy and looks fantastic!

I have decided to just stick to my smart cover and the BodyGuardz back protector.

well I have used zagg invisilbe shield on my iphone and loved it and I don't mind it being a little tacky makes it easier to grip and not have it slip out of your hand but I have looked and looked at ones for my ipad 2 and have to say I am more worried about price. I for one am really tired of paying a lot for accessories for the Ipad. I have found a really good case that has the smart case feature of shutting off the ipad and turning it on. I paid less than 20 for it on ebay and I also found a very reasonably priced skin like the zagg one. It's call the best skin ever and it's a great price and a great product have had it on my ipad for several months and have had no problems. So with a little research and some time well spent I saved 50 bucks on both of them..

This may be a little late in the discussion but I purchased the Power Support HD anti-glare screen protector for my iPhone 4S and I can't be more satisfied. It took me a couple of tries to install it but it lined up perfectly with no bubbles. The package included two screen protectors for $14.99. There truly is no glare, the screen looks sharp and the surface is very smooth. It seems to prevent oils from transferring on the screen as well (finger/ face prints). While I'm sure there are other good brands out there, this one goes on by static cling, no soapy water or sprays and it leaves no residue behind should you require removing it. I recommend it whole-heatedly and I fully intend on purchasing the same brand for my iPad 2. Happy shopping!

You can definitely scratch an ipad2 screen. I wasn't going to put a screen protector on mine because I hate them... Had all kinds of probs with my hubby's 1st Gen iPad. That currently has a Zagg invisishield on it - apart from the horrible feel of it, it was horrible to put it on, AND it actually has "broken" in a couple of places. (my hubby is a tradesman who uses his iPad for work, so this iPad goes through absolute **** every day.) Zagg is no where as good as they say.

Anyway, I wasn't going to put a protector on my iPad 2 until I noticed it was getting scratches. I suck at installing the,, mostly because I have 3 dogs and 3 cats and my house is full of animal hair. I need to find a good protector, and somewhere that will install it for me in Australia...

It only adheres to the margins, so there is no need to worry about bubbles on the screen. The final awesome touch is that you can choose what color you want. Personally thought the screen protector is good as long as it can anti-refletion, anti-scracth and anti-FINGERPRINT. The fingerprints are really annoying when they appear on the screen and make the screen looks nesty. What a $15 Zagg can really do when there is a hard object directly droppes on the screen? I bought a screen protector from eBay. It is good and low cost.

I just got the ZAGG screen protector from my cousin like about a week ago. I actually had the one with a sticky side and the ZAGG which needs to be sprayed entirely. Be careful when applying the ZAGG because if the liquid gets into the holes it will make your iPad/devices stop working. I got lucky because I prayed about it and it actually ended up working after like a few days or so. So just prevent the liquid from going into your power button, home button, earbuds hole, etc. Jesus Christ! I tried so many things from putting it in rice for a while to blow drying it on low to see if it would work. Do not expect immediate results. It takes some time for the water to evaporate especially since the area where it leaked into traps it.

Anyways, I reused the ZAGG screen protector and it still works fine. I would not really like to re-apply it again. However, if you are scared then a professional install is good. Make sure they have a guarantee that if the equipment does not work you get another one or at least repaired free.

The bubbles that are left over after will work itself out through the tiny pores in a few days. I still have like a handful, however, that is it.

There is a tacky feel. However, it is supposed to be really scratch resistant. I would still treat it like a fragile device needing love.

I know this is just a small thing, but I think it makes a big difference in how your iPad feels if you use it a lot. It's like buying cute shoes that really hurt your feet!

I have used the Zagg protectors before but they feel gooey and jelly like. The ArmorSuit goes on just like the Zagg but when it dries it feels just like you are touching the actual screen. Only when you poke the screen with your nail does it feel at all like a screen protector.
