PPC software to new computer?

Hello everyone,

My name is Justin. I was wondering about transferring old software from this iMac G5 iSight edition to a newer computer, maybe a Mac mini.

To be specific, the software is Adobe Creative Suite CS2 - yeah, old stuff, but we need to keep it. Is there any way to keep using the programs on a newer Intel chip processor. I know I used to have it installed on my 2007 iMac, but it never worked 100%.

Any ideas we were thinking of were:

• Moving the programs to a newer computer
• Using the programs on the new Mac by accessing the hard drive of the old iMac?
• Re-installing CS2 on the new computer

Any help, suggestions, or tips are appreciated. Thanks!
