i am need to change name because i gave daughter my ipod. where is the itunes source list located in able to change name?

That is probably because it is 4 years and several versions old. Post your own question.
To rename in iPod using current iTunes:
- Connect iPod
- Select iPod by clicking on the icon shown at the top left of the iTunes window:
- The current device name will be shown at the top of the left-hand sidebar:
- To rename the device, click on the name - it will be highlighted:
- Type in the new name, press Enter. iTunes will then sync the iPod so that the new name is transferred to the device.
