iPhone 3GS Running Slow

I have experienced a similar issue on my iphone and my wife's iphone. The issue was slow response when typing and also when opening apps. One app in particular that would freeze up was The Weather Channel app. I experimented with changes several settings, and finally determined a correlation between the Location Services settings and app / iphone responsiveness. I disabled Location services for all apps except for the Map app (go to <Settings><General><Location Services>). I have not experienced any issue since doing that. On a side note however, if you use facebook app and do mobile uploading of pictures or like to check in at places, you will have to enable it to do those things. On occasion when I do that, I simply enable it for that app and then disable it when I am done.

Same here! Battery is draining much quicker too. I would rather have previous version back, is this possible?
