One minute I was playing Words with Friends and then the screen went black, other apps are working fine. Suggestions - I was in the middle of a number of games?

As with all software there are bugs. Have you tried the troubleshooting steps in the manual?
Basic steps are:
1. Turn off and on the phone.
2. If still issue, reboot phone (Hold down BOTH the HOME and LOCK buttons and keep holding ignoring the slide to turn off prompt, keep holding until turns off and comes back to Apple Logo, then let go.
3. Restore phone from backup.
4. Restore phone as new.
5. Take to store or send in.
I have been having the same crashing, frozen game and now black screen in Words with friends by Zynga. Nothing they suggest works. I have deleted the game and reinstalled it 2-3 times now and the latest is a completely black screen. HELP from Saki girl
