Syncing iPad with iPhone

Hi - I have an iPhone 4 that I would like to sync with an iPad 2, specifically, the calendar, notes and contacts. I can set up the iPad to sync with iTunes the same way I do with the iPhone (I'm using the office suite entourage etc). However, how do I sync the iPhone and iPad over the air so both are always updated with each other? If I add or change something on the iPad I want the iPhone to update (ie calendar events, contacts, etc)

I was told I could use mobile me - is that way possible when I'm syncing thru my iMac using MS entourage?

I sync with iPad 2 and the iPhone 4 as it just makes it all so much easier. Everything is available, that can be available, on both machines, notes, calendar, I use a gmail account and not Mobile Me, and all of that syncs just perfectly. Very very handy for me to do it this way.

I think Entourage is an app for Microsoft and Windows. I'm using a Mac and Safari, my email is through gmail. Works very well for business with great contact and address book management.

I didn't want to go too much overboard here, but I learned over the long haul, especially at the last company I worked for that used gmail as the communications hub of the entire company. Wow, it worked great. I do not like changing my email account but I changed to gmail and got all the benefits that really work well for business (auto fill, remembers contacts, so much more...) and know I will never be changing again. I think you will really appreciate its versatility and style.

1. sync the contacts of the iPhone to iTunes (the option will be disabled and has to be enabled this option is found under the info tab)

2. let the contacts sync to ur pc/mac

3. now connect the iPad enable the sync contacts option (for ipad) in the info tab.

this will sync all ur iPhone contacts to iPad and NOT the other way round (for this to happen after the sync disable the sync contacts option)

other method

sign in through iCloud on both iPad and iPhone then enable sync contacts on both the devices!
