MacBook Pro 13-inch - How to hook up External Monitor

I JUST PURCHASED A MACBOOK PRO - 13'' i5 2.3 ghz processor 4 gigs of ram


I DONT KNOW HOW I COULD HOOK UP AN EXTERNAL MONITOR TO IT?


it has the power supply

then the ethernet

then the firewire 800

then the thunderbolt

2 USB's

and the SD card slot


is it even possible to hook up another moniter?

the guy at the big box store said you can but im confused!

The Thunderbolt port is used for the external monitor. It uses any Apple monitor with a MiniDisplay connector, or any other connectory witht the appropriate video adaptor:

Figure out what kind of connection your monitor requires (VGA; DVI; MDMI, etc), get the proper adaptor for the Apple Store, and you show find the rest quite easy.


Please remember to turn off your caps lock key. All caps make a question harder to read and some people consider it to be internet yelling 😮.
