I haven't used iPhoto before to send photos but having now done so I'm wondering where sent mail is stored -- how can I verify they have been delivered and see the text I wrote alongside. They don't seem to register as Sent mail in Mail. (I'm using MobileMe).
The sent mail is not saved anywhere. BCC yourself - it's a setting in the iPhoto Preferences.
Truly, the email element is lightweight and barebones. It's no substitute for an Email client. You know that you can still use Mail for emailing, and Mail also has (many more...) HTML templates. Check out the Stationery feature.
