How can I find the total time that my Mac Pro has been powered on since it left the factory?
Mac Pro, Mac OS X (10.6.7)
I think that I have found the answer.
Open Terminal, type ac, hit return
My answer was 5077 hours.
Thank you for your answer, but I was looking for the total time that I have run this Mac since it was built. I suspect that it is over 5,000 hours.
I can justify the purchase of a new Mac if I can show the wife (BOSS) how much I use it.

Click on the About This Mac section on the pulldown menu under the apple symbol. After doing this click More Info and it will lead you to a new page where there is a lot of information. Under Contents>Power you will probably find what you are looking for. If not just ask again
