I am unable to open applications folder
All of a sudden I am unable to open applications folder and when I try it tells me I do not have sufficient access privileges. Any ideas anyone??

Hi,
Are you logged in with an admin account? If the answer is no, log into the admin account go into the system preferences under the 'Sharing' section you will need to change the File sharing options.
Alternatively if you are logged in as an admin try restarting your computer and see if the issue still persists.

Unsure if I have admin account, I am the only user on the computer though. I cant open system preferences, and I have tried to restart several times. I can log on and look at my own folder but nothing else. I can't even start up safari. Any other ideas??
