My iPad sporadically starts flashing different sized (zoomed and unzoomed) displays, and starts typing nonsense on it's own-- without me touching it, it brings up keyboard by itself. It does this when connected to Internet.
What is wrong?

No clue what's causing it but a System Reset has been known to fix many faults and it's easy, fairly quick and safe:
Hold down the on/off switch and the Home button simultaneously until you see the Apple logo. Ignore the "Slide to power off" text if it appears.
A System Reset does not remove any apps, music, movies, etc. nor does it cause any settings to revert back to default.
