Snow Leopard and Windows 7 on MacBook White

I have an MacBook White, will it support Snow Leopard and Windows 7 (via BootCamp).

Are there any softwares/apps (in particular) that won't work after I install Snow Leopard and windows7 (also which version of Windows 7 will work, 32-bit, 64-bit or both).

MacBook Specifications

2.0GHz Intel Core 2 Duo Processor

2GB DDR2 SDRAM

13.3-inch TFT screen

NVIDIA GeForce 9400M graphics processor with 256MB of DDR2 SDRAM shared with Main Memory

NOTE: I know it's old system, but can't help it.

From your description is sounds like you have a Model 5.2 Early 2009. From that Apple page that Kappy provided 64 bit Windows will only work on the MacBook model 6.1 Late 2009 and later.

To check which model you have go to the Apple in the upper left corner and select About This Mac, then click on More Info. When System Profiler comes up check the Model Identifier.

If it's the 5,2 you can only use 32 bit Windows. But Snow Leopard will run fine on it.

Kappy you are right. I tried loading the 32 bit windows xp in Boot Camp and it works better.

One problem I face now and it is a pain, I cannot change the screen resolution. It is stuck at 800x600 and when I go to the control panel to change it the button is faded and I cannot click on it.

Any ideas how to change the screen resolution up to 1200?

thanks again...greg
