Match Move w/ Emitter

I am using Apple Motion, and have made a circle, applied an emitter, and now want this to match a motion that I have previously created. Upon doing so everything works except the placement. I place the circle over the hand which I want it to follow, and then the emitter starts off to the left. Any suggestions?
