I've been using a Huawei MF626 modem for internet connection, I just got the new MacBook Pro 2011, and installed it but its not working. It mounts the device but there is no network service for the provider(MTN). The same modem works on a MBK Pro running 10.6.4, pls Help.

That's probably because the driver software for the modem is 32-bit only, and the MBP boots in 64-bit kernel mode by default. To test this theory, reboot while holding down the 3 and 2 number keys, then try the modem again.
