Has anyone solved the Realplayer downloader problem,mine stopped working,after downloading the upgrades for mac

I have tried the realplayer website but no joy there,I like to download vids from youtube so I have now got a downloader,just for youtube and it works well,but I would still like to solve the problem for other downloads
Tried the realplayer site too, also tried uninstall-reinstall (as possible solution i've seen in other forums); but didn't work. If anyone wants to try it...still searching for solving as it worked so awesomely good for me the last 1'5 year
I had the same problem and from what I understand there is no fix yet. Luckily I found a replacement app called VideoSnooper. So far it works okay for me.
