using terminal to control multiple sessions

konsole on kde has the ability to control multiple sessions from one window. what this means is that i can open a window, ssh into a remote server, and repeat for each server. thus, if i have 5 remote servers i have 5 open windows. then i can open a 6th window, ssh into a 6th server and then tell konsole that the input to this window should be directed to the other 5 windows. voila', i can perform routine maintenance on all 6 servers at once. it's a great time saver.

problem is, i don't see the same capability with terminal on mac os x. am i missing something or is mac os x?

tia.
