How can I read my iBooks on my PC?

I hope apple will create a plug in for itunes that will read their drm-ed ibooks

I can listen to music on my PC. I can watch movies on my PC. Why can't I READ BOOKS!

But the requirements list the specific devices as well. Surely an iTunes shopper knows whether they own one of the required devices, regardless of iOS version running in it.

That won't let you read purchased ibooks from Apple that have digital rights management on them - they can currently only be read in the iBooks app on an iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch

I have already downloaded some ebooks from iTunes and read them on calibre on my laptop. Are you saying that only some ebooks have DRM from iTunes , if so how do we tell which ones have DRM.?

Whether there is DRM is up to the publisher. Some, like O'Reilly, don't use it. Also free books usually lack DRM.

That's probably why it works for me, I download the free books. ^^

i just bought one book from this iTunes stores...

i rly regret it now it works on ... NOTHING.... im rly trying it now for HOURS

and the rest gets Edited... great...

I can read iBooks on my iMac 27, 3 year old. Download iBook reader from AppStore.

Do you have OX Mavericks (i.e. 10.9) installed on your Mac ? If you do then it has a built-in iBooks app.
