Hi.

As a computer illiterate, I was wondering if someone could tell me why on some pages when I double click a new page opens up with "http://b.scorecardresearch.com/scripts/beacon.dll?C1=7&C2=8593008&C3=23" this website?

This has just happened after a new software update. Is my mac at risk?

How do you find this in LION OS Mac Pro Desktop, and get rid of it entirely?

Mine is infected (may have been for over a year) because I was having problems that would not resolve

and went so far as to put in a new harddrive last summer - but it began acting up again. It increased its

activity once I got an iPhone (which was preset apparently) to share everything throught the Cloud without

so much as my choosing what to share and what NOT to share !

So, is there an EASY way to get rid this, AND stop the Cloud connection without losing all my things on the

desktop ?

Last person I talked to sent me to a sight that said to copy and paste all my "documents" singlely into back

onto the desktop, then delete the cloud. SERIOUSLY ??? Copy and paste over 4,000 Items ????

NOT a happy camper with APPLE right now - and I do not believe this "kill switch" being implementing into

smart phones is for tracking stolen phones. Since WHEN has any government been concerned about a

citizens stolen cell phone? Oh..maybe since some of the war torn eastern countries have tried to cut all

radio and television signals from letting the world know what is really going on? Cell phones use satellite

towers - you can't stop them. However - perhaps a KILL SWITCH inside the phone can. Think about it.
