Just got my ipad2 and after my first sync the app store icon is missing. Can anyone help me with this problem.....

It could be on a different page, because that icon is a system icon i don't think you can delete it. Try swiping to another page.

Thank u, for ur reply. I only have two pages and the icon is not showing!!!! I'm really confused....
Connect your iPad to your computer and start iTunes, click on your iPad icon and then select Apps at the top of the window. Scroll down to find the App Store icon and make sure it is checked to sync. Click the sync button to save changes.
Check Settings>General>Restrictions to make sure that nothing is restricted.
Interestingly enough, if you search for "App" it will not find the missing icon, but if you start the search with "Store" it will :)

I'm experiencing similar problems with my iPad 2. The icons for some apps, such as the calendar and App Syore remain missing, regardless of browsing the pages or rebooting.
