How does one compare two documents to easily find changes/edits/additions in Pages?

In one of those recent discussions Yvan suggested exporting both documents to plain text and using one of many available open-source tools for the comparison. This is probably the most reliable approach.

I was also thinking that if I wanted to stay within Pages, I would do the obvious things like looking for differences at the margins and ends of pages where changes may force a different wrap point or pagination. To take a finer look, I would open the Text Inspector, More tab and check the statistics on each page or group of pages by seeing if groups of selected text differ in character or word count.
