Cannot access Google services...may be a virus?

Hey everyone,

We are having a sort of crisis in the office today...

We cannot access any google services....when we asked our boss if she could access them, she said yes. Then, after a co-worker logged into gmail, she could no longer access. Every time we attempt to load any google pages, it just times out and says the server has stopped responding.

This is occuring with many different login/users and across platforms.

We have used Safari and Firefox on the Macs, and IE/Firefox on the PCs.

Anyone have any ideas how to get rid of this thing? How would we run a virus scan on the mac?

Firstly Macs do not get viruses - and that is a fact. There are no viruses yet discovered that can affect Apple OS X.

But they can get malware (if a user allows it to install), but I doubt if that is the case here.

If still no joy, try asking Google:
