I have two seperate itunes account and want to transfer them both to one of my two macs

Why would you create another account?

You can move/copy/backup your music wherever you want. Just copy it all to one computer.

You cannot combine two accounts into one. Not sure why you would make two accounts in the first place.

Make sure both computers are set up to share their library on the local network.

iTune>Preferences>Sharing>Share my library on my local network.

Then, using the computer that you want to have the media on for yourself, go to the other computer's library, it should appear under Shared on the left, select everything you want to import and click "Import".

When it's done you can delete it all from the other computer, then you can just sign out of iTunes.

If you didn't do so previously, you'll want to authorize the computer that now has all the media on it with the older iTunes account.

Store>Authorize this computer.

That won't allow transfer of media. Sharing only allows playing one library on another computer.

To tansfer media between computers, need to enable -> Home Sharing

Ok, I though that HomeSharing allowed streaming of media, and you could already transfer media. Was it always that way?

No, you have it backwards. The Sharing you refer to allows only playing of the content and has been present in iTunes for many versions. Home Sharing allows actual transfer of the content via a network, and that feature appeared only in iTunes 9.
