ipad 2 for note taking in college?

Hi, I will be starting my second year as an undergrad student.

And I was thinking about purchasing and ipad 2 to take my notes on.

I am a Biology Major and I would be talking notes for classes like Orgo chem, calc, bio lecutres, and gen eds.

I wanted to know what your thoughts were, and if it would be easy to take notes on the ipad with a stylus, and which apps work best.

Or if i should stick with paper and pen.

An iPad provides a small, compact way to keep track of all your notes. Search on the App Store for a notes app that is right for you. I recommend that you buy an Apple wireless keyboard for your iPad.

I have been using the OneNote app on my iPad2 to take notes in meetings. The notes go into my Windows Live Skydrive folder which allows me to access the notes from a web browser and/or the OneNote program in Office 2010.

Evernote's a cool little app. It's free in the store. Also, spend a worthwhile $20 and get both Pages and Keynote. You'll not be sorry.
