Have to give security code to rent movie on ATV?
Since the latest update the ATV asks for the credit card securuity code when renting a movie.
This is anoying, to say the least!
aparantly growth comes with distrust. that's a pity, for us, for Apple.

So if someone were to hack your account, you want them to be able to buy/rent content without any verification?
Well, that's basically how it worked for the past few months. But if renting a movie is all a hacker want's to do there's a whole lot of easier opportunities for them on the web.
This means my credit card (hence me) needs to be around whenever a movie is rented.
Better to add the Security Code in when needed then someone hacking your Apple ID and using 1 click to purchase iTunes content.
