Why won't my Macbook Air charge past 79%?
HELP! I've only had my Macbook Air 13" (late 2010) 10 weeks. For the last couple of weeks when I've charged it up, it won't go past 79% - anyone have any ideas why?

Hello,
have you tried to recalibrate the battery for the unit. this should resolve the issue for you.
You can try the following article to recalibrate the battery on the unit:
Calibrating your computer's battery for best performance
If the issue still persists, you can take the unit to an Apple Service center they can get this repaired under warranty.
Peace.... 🙂
Thanks for the reply and link - to calibrate though, it must be charged to 100%, but it's stuck on 79!!
Hi fayeh21,
If you run the battery down to 0% and recharge it, the battery display always a maximum of 79%? In System Profiler under battery what does the battery's full charge capacity read?
