Connecting an IPAD to a smb share, is it possible?

Is this even supported on an IPAD? IPHONE?

We have our VPN working and want to get to some files.

Thanks for any help you can provide.

Direct connection to a network server is not natively supported in iOS. There may be file sharing apps that would do what you need, though, depending on what those files are and how you need to use them. iExplorer is one such app:

http://itunes.apple.com/app/iexplorer-hd/id384243700?mt=8

and you may find others if you search the App Store for "SMB".

Regards.
