The time on my Macbook keeps changing

As the title says - the time on my Macbook keeps changing, to a few minutes fast. It's doing my head in now, I'm having to change it back a couple of times a day.

Before anyone says it - yes, I do have the "Set date and time automatically" box unchecked! So I have no idea why it keeps deciding what time to set itself to.

It's not a problem with the time zone, that's correct.

Any ideas?

I don't have it checked because I want to control the time myself, not have the Macbook decide what time it is for me. However, turning the option off still doesn't seem to solve the problem.

When I had the option checked, not only would it jump forward a few minutes but the hour would often change completely as well (nothing to do with the time zone, that has always been set correctly). At least now it's only 3 minutes fast, rather than 6 hours 3 minutes fast.

I have updated to 10.6.7, that information is attached to my profile somewhere, I don't log in that often. I don't think that's the cause of the problem though anyway.
