    FYI, while plugging in an headset (without mic) on the Iphone4, the mic (on the iphone) works normaly. It seems the switch function for the mic is reversed. Any way to solve this bug ?

    Hey. I have iphone 4 white factory unlocked,it was working fine when i purchased it and after a few days i updated it to 4.3.5

    Now whenever i recieve a call or make a call there is no voice in ear piece and neither can the person on other end hear me. I even tried to put on the speaker and make a call but nothing changed. I tried the handsfree but then again nothing happened.

    On the other end when i tested its recording through voice memo,everything works(SPEAKER,MIC,EAR PIECE AND HANDSFREE). Speakers even work when im using youtube,games and ipod.

    Everything works fine but when on call speaker,mic,earpiece and handsfree. I just bought my iPhone From England and im not in ENGLAND OR USA to claim my warrenty. Im In Pakistan and i have no apple stores here to claim my warrenty.

    Please help.

    Best Regards,

    Dr.Raza

    Apple has come up with a solution for the problem of callers can't hear the voice while on call. IOS 5 has a option on;

         Setting --> General -->Accessibility --> Hearing ( You have to switch On the option called "Hearing Aid Mode")

    I got the problem fixed on this.

    Thanks to Apple!!!!

    Having an issue with an iPhone 4 - no audio on calls at all - everything else works fine and has audio - does NOT say (Headphones) when adjusting the volume and have tried plug/un-plug the headphones and reboot - I do NOT see an option that says Hearing Aid Mode - there is a custom vibrations options under the Hearing settings.

    about to try a restore - although since it is a hand-me down phone with a different SIM card I am not 100% sure how that will go.

    Restore then setup from backup seems to have worked. Found the sign out option for the Store u der Settings to put in the new iTunes account ID.

    still no go for audio - but the iPhone 4 has Hearing Aid mode - iPhone 4 S does not.

    looks like still no go - and call voice mail (since no visual voice mail) and no audio either.
