Mac Mail trying to send over and over to bad smtp

I have gone through a number of changes to my email lately. I am now using a gmail account and have it setup correclty in mac mail. The problem I am having is that every 5-10 min my email popups up, beaps at me and trys to send 4 emails using smtp.comcast.net which is not configured in mac mail. I have tried removing the outbox.mbox file and that does not help. Here is a picture of what it is doing. Thanks for any ideas.
