Aug 15, 2011 10:30 PM in response to billfromlosangelesby CiscoCrossing,Hi Bill,
I had the same issue. What I learned in trying to figure out a solution was that the Dell Photo AIO 922 was built off the Lexmark X5270. If you set-up your 922, and select the Lexmark 5200 Series driver from the built-in driver drop-down menu options, your 922 should work --- mine did.

Sep 17, 2011 10:25 PM in response to clos122by CiscoCrossing,Hi clos122,
Under "System Preferences" "Print & Fax" double <click> on the printer on the left side of the window. In the window that appears, <click> on the "Printer Setup" then select the 'Driver' tab. In there scroll for the "5200 Series" Search for this specifically and hopefully you'll be able to locate it. I have been using the printer for a while now, without any communication problems at all.
All the best.

Nov 6, 2011 12:26 AM in response to billfromlosangelesby RogerDA,I tried the advice here but get a "Unable to Load RASTER CUPS data" error when trying to print to a Dell 922. I have selected the Lexmark 5200 series driver, as instructed. Any ideas?

Nov 6, 2011 9:45 AM in response to RogerDAby CiscoCrossing,Hi RogerDA,
I don't have a solution for this, but understand the process is 'delete' the printer, then 'install' it again. If this works, then great, If not, you may get a 'Color Table missing' error. In this case, the following thread might help (https://discussions.apple.com/message/10920994?messageID=10920994#10920994?messa geID=10920994).
Take care,

Feb 10, 2013 8:49 PM in response to CiscoCrossingby DesertBoomer,Cisco:
Very helpful! My set up was Mac/ Lion trying to Print off a Dell Photo A10 922
Lion does not store any Lexmark, nor dow Apple, but I went to the lexmark site, and found this-
Downloaded that, then hooked up the printer, Cmd-P, and the Mac found the drivers I had loaded.
Works fine. Now when I go to my sisters, I can print!
byw, I'm probably just a Level 2 "GIYF"er, but your the only one ( of MANY folks) who thought to search Lexmart. I've seen posts by MANY geeks saying a Mac could not print to ANY Dell printer.
Nice job,
Rich

Basic question I know - I can't install the Lex 5200 file because of my security settings - How do I change my security settings so that I can install files from unidentified sources?
Thanks

Level 7 (30,009 points)
Mac OS XUnder System Preferences->Security & Privacy-> tick the "Allow apps downloaded from" (or something to the effect) and tick "Anywhere."
Be sure and change it back when you've installed the files that you need.
