Title says it all. I have no windows Installation disk. I refuse to buy a new computer (Mac). My RAM wont allow me to run Virtual box.
I need to restore my iPhone ASAP.
Can someone help me get it working?

Your best bet would be to use Windows and iTunes latest version as Apple is always changing things, since your needs are immediate.
Far as using Ubuntu alternatives, you'll have to experiment with what works on Linux, things come a bit later on as people make hacks.
I wish could help you as I use Linux myself, but I detest iOS and touchscreens in general.
