FTP Name & Password Reset

Hi,

The only way I've ever been able to get connected to my work's FTP site is by copying the address provided by my PC-centric administrator and pasting it into the address bar in Safari. It works, and it even saves the info in the Finder's GO > Connect to Server system. It mounts the FTP directory like a disk in the Finder and works beautifully.... except I can't upload to it. However, that same PC-centric admin said it had to do with the username and password he provided -- an issue that's come up with both Mac and PC users. He gave me a new name & pw and I want to reconnect using them. The only problem is that when I paste the address in Safari, it automatically logs in on the old name/pw -- I can't revert back to a log-in dialog. I've tried removing the server from the Connect to Server window, emptying the Trash, etc., but somehow the username and PW are still stored somewhere. I did look in Safari's Preferences Autofill, but it's not listed there. Is it maybe hidden in a keychain somewhere?

Any ideas?

Well, I think I just answered my own question, by going to Utilities > Keychain Access and deleting the old one. But it still won't let me upload -- something I've read here can only be accomplished via 3rd-party software, which I've tried, and it's complicated as heck.

Oh well, thought I might leave this out here in case someone else wants to know about the Safari-FTP connection.
