Xcode and PDF Widget HELP!!!!!

PLEASE HELP!!!!!

I've been trying to add a PDF widget to my application but am COMPLETELY stumped. This is what the help says to do

"

To add the PDFKit palette in Interface Builder, select the Palettes tab in the Preferences panel. Click the Add… button, navigate to the

/Developer/Extras/Palettes
folder, and select the PDFKit palette. Next, select the Customize Toolbar menu item in the Tools/Palettes menu and drag the PDFKit palette to the toolbar to make it visible."

first, i can't for the life of my find the preference panel, let alone the palettes tab. Plus if i just go through my finder, i can't find the Palettes folder...

If anybody can help please do. Im really new to this whole xcode thing, if you can post photos too, that would be GREAT.

thanks.
