Rubber bottom is warping and peeling away

Hello,

The rubber bottom on my white Macbook is warping and coming away. Really annoying as it looks awful. And unfortunately it's over a year old, so it's out of warranty. Please help!!!!

Me too....just as everyone describes. Starts out small and keeps warping & more annoying than anything. I hope it doesn't ruin my Mac. I have had it over a year as well, but never abused it. I live 1 hour away from the nearest Apple store so I took it into a local authorized mac repair shop & they wanted $90 just to look at it. If I did something to cause this I would gladly pay to fix it, but in my mind this is clearly a defect. Why should the consumer pay $90 just to have it looked at & not to mentioned it probably costs more than $90 to fix. I love all my apple products and can't believe this is not a defect. I don't think anyone would design a laptop that would need a new bottom every couple of years. This isn't even my main laptop I use....just one that is for home use only. I plan on taking it to the apple store & hope they can do something. Please let me know if you have any success fixing under warranty & I will let you know as well.
