I am new to Ipad and Apple technology/ applications and I am struggling, but i already enjoy it! I bought Ipad2 wifi 3G /64GB and ITunes has at the bottom blackened tab only 3 options: ITunesU/Podcasts/download.There is no way I can download movies, music and so forth. Any suggestions? I cannot find a way via apple tech support neither local apple store in Thailand to find the solution. Thanks

Apple has to have licensing deals in place for each country.
Each song, movie and tv show has a different distributor in each country.
Apple has to negotiate the rights with each distributor in each country separately.
They have not done so apparently in Thailand.
There is no work around.

thanks for that quick answer ! Let me re-phrase my request as I'm not sure I understand your answer. I have friends that use Ipad 1 and live in Thailand and on their I tunes store you have at the bottom of the screen and on the top menu also I think the options to download movie, music and so on. as for my Ipad, I have only Podcast, I tunesU and download. I do not understand why I do not have a complete menu to work with. and I did find in many discussion forums people had the same problem not only in Asia....
maybe I'm confused between the App Store, I tunes and so on, but so far, if I log on App store and want to download movies, and I go to entertainment, I have no options to do so.
do i need then to download a specific App from Apple in order to have access to movie ? can we access to free movies ?
apologize if my explanation may not be clear, just trying to understand how the whole thing work....
