I want to use a PCIe SATA III card to attach an SSD drive. The SATA cable can attach to the card, but where do I attach the SATA power cable. I would rather not use the HD bays, because I want to keep 4 standard hard drives attached.

The 2008 still used ATA Optical drives, and should have a Molex four-in-a-row or square power connector to run the second (and first) optical bays. For that matter, it should have two unused SATA data connectors near there as well -- you should not really need another card to get extra SATA ports. (But they would be SATA 2 speed.)
Molex to SATA power are readily available. You may have to get some connectors from Radio Shack and make a splitter if you need lengths over the typical 6 to 9 inches.
Is there no other way other than the Molex adaptor to get SATA power. I guess that will work
I added the card to get the SATA 3 speed for the SSD.

If you are not using both the Aux power cables for the graphics card(s), you could probably get power there. I don't know the pinouts or whether connectors are readily available.
