How can I remove multiple hyperlinks from a slab of text?

Select all the text concerned. Then:

This will stop them being live links but they will probably be blue and underlined. Click the underline button twice, and use the colour selector to turn them black.

I don't believe that there is any way to do what you are asking. I've tried to deselect the Hyperlink checkbox, not the one in Roger's illustration which has another purpose, but the one above labeled "Enable as a hyperlink". Only one instance gets un-hyperlinked at a time.

I just checked this and it worked as I described. I copied a list of links into Pages: each one when clicked opened in Safari. I seleceted all, then checked the 'Make all hyperlinks inactive' whereupon all the links no longer worked.

It can be done by WordService from Devon Technologies. Select All and one click changes them all to regular text (color too).

You mean he wants to actually delete the text which is hyperlinked? - you can't do that automatically in Pages. I don't know anything about WordService. But most web pages have text in which some words are hypelinked, and removing the actual linked words would produce garbage, so I was assuming he wanted to leave the words but have them not live links and not blue and underlined. Doubtless he will clarify for us.

Try select the text with the hyperlinks > open Inspector palette > Link inspector tab > Make all links inactive.

The way I interpret the question, the OP wants to eliminate the linkages, not just disable them.
