problem shutting down frostwire

frostwire has been in the process of shutting down for the past few weeks; i can't restart my macbook. help!

Press COMMAND-OPTION-ESC to open the task manager. Select the Frostwire entry then click on the Force Quit button.


If that does not work then open Activity Monitor in your Utilities folder, select the FrostWire entry, click on the Quit icon in the toolbar then click on the Force Quit button.


Restart the computer.
